About The Cuthbert

The Cuthbert Amphitheater is a beautiful concert venue that offers everyone an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment outdoors during spectacular Oregon summers. Located in Eugene, Oregon at the edge of Alton Baker Park near the University of Oregon’s Autzen Stadium, at at 601 Day Island Road, The Cuthbert features superb sound, beer gardens, food booths and an environment perfect for enjoying live music.

Ticketing

Cascade Ticketing provides ticketing services for The Cuthbert Amphitheater, an independent concert venue located in Eugene, OregonTickets for all concerts and events are available online at Cascade Tickets or at The Cuthbert Amphitheater Box Office. Currently, the Box Office opens an hour and a half before all concerts. Please check event info to determine if seating is General Admission, Reserved Seating, or a combination of both.

If you purchase tickets from a third-party vendor, you do so at your own risk.
We cannot guarantee the validity of any order purchased from a third-party vendor, nor can we give information out to anyone other than the original purchaser regarding an order. Barcodes, including for Print-at-Home tickets, can only be used once for entry.

  • Clear bags only– no larger than 14” x 18” x 6”
  • No outside food or beverages – empty plastic water containers ok, water fill stations inside
  • Blankets and beach towels allowed, beach towel size.
  • Smoking and e-cigarette use in the designated area only (southwest end of the concourse)
  • Camera policies are determined on a show-by-show basis based on the artist’s request. If you are unsure of the policy for a show and don’t have a place to stow your camera while you’re inside the venue, please leave cameras at home.
  • No Soliciting, Canvasing, or Petitioning

 

The following are not permitted in the venue:

  • Drugs (no marijuana in any form)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pets
  • Fireworks or sparklers
  • Umbrellas
  • Bags and backpacks
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Glass or cans
  • Coolers, of any size
  • Musical Instruments

  • Video or other recording devices
  • Tripods or selfie sticks
  • Laser pointers
  • Masks – excluding Covid-19 protection masks
  • Flow toys (hoops, poi, staff fans, etc.)
  • Drones
  • Please check specific event info for additional items prohibited from certain shows

The Cuthbert reserves the right to deny entry or ask visitors to leave at any time

Seating

There are two types of shows at The Cuthbert:

  1. General Admission (GA) Lawn: the upper and lower grassy areas, as well as the permanent seats in front of the stage, will be first-come-first-seated.
  2. Reserved Seated and GA Lawn: two types of tickets will be sold – reserved tickets for the permanent seats with backs in front of the stage, and general admission tickets for the lawn areas.

Please note for all shows:

  • Blanket and grass seating are permitted on both upper and lower lawns. Blankets should be the size of a beach towel. 
  • No chairs are allowed on the LOWER lawn
  • Low chairs are only allowed in the UPPER lawn: chairs must be low profile, with legs no taller than 8” and chair backs no higher than 32” off the ground
  • Security reserves the right to redirect chair and blanket placement for the comfort and safety of patrons

Accessibility

ADA parking and parking for the elderly is primarily available in the Science Factory parking lot on the north side of the venue (2300 Leo Harris Parkway). Overflow parking is also available on the grass just outside of the gates, accessible via Alton Baker Park. Ask parking attendants to direct you to these areas if you need closer access.

The Cuthbert Amphitheater adheres to the U.S. Department of Justice ADA 2010 revised requirements regarding the sale of accessible seating. Patrons requiring special seating accommodations must request them at the time of purchase.  All patrons including companions, caregivers and assistants must present a ticket for entry.

Tickets for unsold wheelchair and companion seating may be released for sale to individuals without disabilities:

  1. When all non wheelchair and companion tickets have been sold;
  2. When all non wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated seating area have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released in the same designated area; or
  3. When all non wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated price category have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released within the same designated price category.

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available in both general admission and reserved seated shows. There are several wheelchair cutouts in the reserved area with three companion seats each. There are also wheelchair cutouts in the GA area, on the pathway between lawn levels as well.

Food & Drink

The Cuthbert Amphitheater has several food and drink options available for patrons. At any given show, about 5-6 food vendors are open for business on our main concourse. Food options may rotate from show to show. In addition to food vendors, there are beer gardens on the main concourse that offer ice cold beer, non-alcoholic alternatives, hard seltzer, wine, cocktails, Red Bull and water. Patrons are not permitted to bring in their own food or drink (water fill stations are available if patrons want to refill their own plastic, clear water container).

Getting To The Cuthbert: Directions, Parking and Lodging

Finding us

The Cuthbert is located inside Alton Baker Park, at 601 Day Island Road. To access our main parking area, enter the park, and follow the road past the paved lot to the grass parking across the street from the venue. There is also overflow/ancillary parking available in the Science Factory parking lot on the north side of the venue.

Driving via I-5 North or I-5 South

 Take Exit 194B toward Eugene, merging onto I-105 W / OR-126 W. Take Exit 2 for Coburg Rd toward Downtown, staying left at the fork in the ramp. Take first available right onto Country Club Road. Turn left to stay on Country Club Road. Turn left onto Club Road at the light. For main parking on the North side: Turn right at next light onto Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Follow signs to Autzen Stadium and the Science Factory, and turn right onto Leo Harris Parkway. Parking available in Science Factory lot. For overflow parking on the South side: After going under the bridge, take next right into Alton Baker Park. Follow road straight past the parking lots, and around the bend.

Parking

Parking is available on both the North side of the venue, in the Science Factory parking lot, and on the South side, in the grass off of Day Island Road. ADA parking is available in both areas, but the primary parking is the Science Factory lot (ask parking attendants for the areas reserved for alter-abled patrons). Parking fees are included in ticket price.

Biking

Enhance your concert experience and arrive by bicycle! The Cuthbert proudly offers people on bikes the following amenities:

Taxi Service

Arrange for pick-up or drop-off to take place in the Science Factory parking lot (2300 Leo Harris Parkway) for egress. Using the Alton Baker Park entrance could result in delays or even taxi cancellations.

Mass Transit

Lane Transit District’s bus routes 13 and 66 have stops about a 5-10 minute walk from the venue.

Uber / Lyft: The Cuthbert parking area at Eugene Science Center is a good pin point for ride pick ups, with lighter traffic than Alton Baker park areas.

Lodging/Camping

Because the Cuthbert is located in a city park, there is no overnight camping allowed. The closest campsite is located about 8 miles from the venue.
